Vision
is ourVision
We have a vision at Glad Tidings Christian Center to reach people of all ages, regardless of race or social standing, with
the full-gospel message of salvation which is Total healing for the Whole Man -- mind, body soul & spirit. To provide a
place of worship where each person may be free to worship in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
TO DEMONSTRATE GOD'S LOVE THROUGH MINISTRY
|
To preach, teach and demonstrate God's grace, love and forgiveness. Our goal in ministry is to "Love People to Life."
TO COMMUNICATE GOD'S WORD THROUGH EVANGELISM
|
Having a Heart for Outreach Evangelism - Each One Reach One. To make disciples, as Christ commanded, by not only
being a place where people can hear the salvation message of Jesus preached and taught, but to also equip the people of
the church to take the message of Good News outside the church. Our goal is to impact and change our region with the
full-gospel message of Jesus Christ.
TO CELEBRATE GOD'S PRESENCE
|
TO INCORPORATE GOD'S PEOPLE INTO HIS FAMILY
|
As Christ commanded, to Baptize believers in water, to demonstrate that they have likewise died with Him, and they have
been raised with Him in newness of life. To incorporate an ongoing life of baptism in Christ in the life of each believer by
providing a fellowship where each member of God's family may utilize their gifts, talents and callings of God through the
various ministries provided. To incorporate God's people into His family is fellowship.
To educate God's people is discipleship. To reach and teach a broad spectrum of people of all ages - from infancy to
adulthood. To educate people with the gospel message through a Christian daycare, a Kindergarten - 12th grade Christian
School, a Bible institute and a strong Sunday school program. To reach and teach the children and youth in our region
through a powerful children's church and youth ministry.
We are believing God for a church of 2,500 members strong to impact and shape our city and surrounding counties for the glory of God. With a clear vision of what we can become in Christ, no ocean of difficulty is too great. Without it, we rarely move beyond our current boundaries. We believe a great commitment to the great commandment and the great commission will grow a great church!
